I am a Chartered Accountant and Partner at Lalit Kabra & Company, a professional firm with offices located in Bhilwara and Jaipur, Rajasthan. I am primarily responsible for managing and overseeing the operations of our Bhilwara branch, where I lead a team of professionals in delivering a wide range of financial, taxation, and assurance services. With deep-rooted expertise in the field of chartered accountancy, I handle the entire scope of a practicing CA’s responsibilities, ensuring quality service and compliance with evolving regulatory frameworks. My role spans across diverse areas, including: Core Responsibilities: Accounting & Financial Reporting: Supervising the preparation and finalization of books of accounts, financial statements, and reports for individuals, firms, and corporate clients in accordance with statutory requirements and accounting standards. Audit & Assurance Services: Conducting statutory audits, tax audits, GST audits, internal audits, and management audits. Ensuring compliance with auditing standards and providing valuable insights to clients for internal control improvement and operational efficiency. GST & Indirect Taxation: Handling all aspects of GST compliance, return filing, registration, audit, and litigation support. Advising clients on GST implications, structuring of transactions, and resolution of departmental issues. Direct Taxation (Income Tax, TDS, TCS): Managing income tax planning, return filing, representation before tax authorities, TDS/TCS compliance, and responding to notices or assessments. Business Consulting & Advisory: Providing advisory services on business structuring, financial planning, project reports, and compliance management. Assisting start-ups and SMEs with regulatory guidance and growth strategies. Legal & Compliance Representation: Drafting and submitting replies to show cause notices, appeals, and representing clients in proceedings before tax departments and regulatory authorities. Mentorship & Team Management: Leading a team of accountants and trainees, ensuring timely delivery of services, professional development, and maintaining a client-focused culture.
